Bear Creek High School is a comprehensive high school
located in Lakewood, Colorado. Nestled along the foothills of the
Rocky Mountains, BCHS is approximately 12 miles southwest of
Denver. BCHS is one of eighteen high schools in the Jefferson
County R-1 School District.
BCHS serves approximately 1900 students in grades 9 – 12.
These students are taught by 105 certified teachers, 70% whom have
a Master’s degree. BCHS, a large, suburban high school with a
strong, mixed socioeconomic base, takes great pride in the diversity
of its student body: 33 % of the student population is of varied
cultural backgrounds. This diversity enriches our educational
experience.
