When Ohio's Mason City School District began budgeting for its new high school and community center,
they turned to PlanSCAPE® for a comprehensive, cost-saving FF&E solution. After establishing an initial budget
figure of approximately $3,500,000, the PlanSCAPE team worked with district personnel to arrive at bid package
that would meet their needs.
Once the work of bid preparation, solicitation, and review had been completed, the district opted for a product package
with a price tag of approximately $2,500,000: approximately 25% less than their initial budget figure. The bid package
provided furniture, fixtures, and equipment for the high school's classrooms, computer labs, science labs,
administrative areas, and meeting rooms, as well as the community center's art rooms, child care facility, offices, and senior center.
